The 8th Planting of Pacú Fry at Puerto Leda
青年たちが主体的に準備・実行した稚魚放流

今年度のパクー稚魚放流式は、新型コロナウイルス感染症予防のため、来賓を招かず、レダ基地内在住者だけで行いました。ボランティア青年たちが中心となって準備を進め、実行したことも、今回の放流式の特色です。午前中に、養殖池から稚魚を取り出して準備万端。午後、岩澤所長（写真中央）のメッセージで放流式典を開始しました。司会は竹内君（写真右）です。その後、数人ずつのグループに分かれ、パラグアイ川本流に稚魚を放流しました。巨大パクーのオブジェは、青年たちが力を合わせ、ヤシの枝を用いて作りました。
Starting from the first official event of planting pacú fry held in May of 2013, we have repeated the event in the best season of May or June every year. This year, unlike previous years, we invite no guests from Asunción or any other towns, in order to prevent spread of Covid-19 infection.
On the morning of June 13, they scooped with a wide net pacú fry for the event. In the afternoon, this year's official event began with the message of Mr. Haruhiko Iwasawa. He emphasized the significance of restoring fishery resources along the Paraguay and promoting a new local industry to improve the quality of life of people in the neighboring communities.
Young volunteers did a very good job in everything such as planning, preparation, and conducting of the whole event. They also worked well to make a giant pacú as the symbol of hope for future; they are united in brotherly love more and more.

タロイモの植え付け Planting taro. For farm activities to follow, plants are aligned pretty straight in all directions. The farm will also look nice this way. タロイモの定植は、草取りなどの管理をしやすくするため、前後左右をまっすぐに揃えます。見た目も美しくなります。（6月19日） | |
